Default Air intake with MAF and MAP sensors

Couple questions about cold air intakes.

#1: Does the 2002 RS have MAP sensors of MAF sensors.

#2: One of my friends has heard that a cold air intake on a system that uses MAP sensors will decrease the performance of the car because a MAF senor can learn the fuel/air mixture ratios better than a MAP. Or something like that. I guess what Im getting at, is, how is a cols air intake gonna affect my 02 RS if I install one? Does it depend on the company? If so, how are Cobb's intakes?

I really wasnt paying too much attn. to my buddy when he was telling me this, and thats the best I can remember him describing the effects of a cold air intake on a car that uses MAP sensors. Ok Im done babbaling now.

Thanks

This has been heavily covered. Try a search for "MAF" "MAP" and "Intake"
