Silver - Vishnu Stage 2+

Default FS (CA) - 1999 2.5RS, WRX Transplant with Goodies Track Car ($3000)

(not sure if I post local sales in here or not)

Howdy Folks,

I haven't been on here in a while ... I tried to sell this car over a year ago and never followed up on it. Since then, I moved twice, changed jobs twice and had another kid. I'm finally able to get my head around things and will be unloading this car this year (selling it or donating it to charity).

Car will be sold as is. Registration has expired (March 2008) and will be up to the new owner to register it. This was a track car for me and the last time I drove it was at Thunderhill (over 18 months ago). This car is faster than my Vishnu Stage 2 WRX and my Vishnu Stage 1+ Evo.

So the first $3000 offer that goes through, its yours. Not really interested in shipping it anywhere, so you'll have to pick it up. And you only have until Dec 29th. Otherwise it gets donated so I can collect the tax deduction for 2008.

The Good
-- 1999 Subaru 2.5RS White with 40K miles on it
-- WRX Transplanted Motor - 16k miles on it
-- WRX 5spd Transmission - 5k miles on it
-- 3" Custom Exhaust System (w/ cat)
-- Vishnu Uppipe
-- Upgraded, VF30 Turbo
-- Massive Custom, Front Mount Intercooler
-- Upgraded Aluminum Race Radiator
-- Two Massive Spall Radiator Fans (only needs one to keep the car cool on the track)
-- TEC3 Engine Management System
-- Tial 38mm VTA Blowoff Valve
-- Vishnu Race Fuel Rails
-- RC Engineering Low Impedence 650 Injectors
-- Upgraded Throttle body - from 5.0 mustang
-- Upgraded Fuel Pressure Regulator
-- Supra Fuel Pump

-- StopTech Big Brake Kit -- brakes have less than 500 miles on them
-- Pagid Orange Race Pads (front)
-- Axxis Brake Pads (rear)
-- Goodridge Stainless Steel Brake Lines

-- STI JDM Struts and Springs
-- Upgraded/Bigger Rear Sway Bar
-- Kaaz Limited Slip Rear Differential
-- Rota 17" Tarmac with Toyo Proxy RA1s (235x45x17)

-- Compartment Kill switch, kills power to all electrical in the car, reachable from the driver's seat
-- Corbeau Race Seat with Slider option
-- Battery Relocation - under passenger seat, thin battery
-- Brand new front windsheild

-- Transplant done by LIC Motorsports
-- Engine Management done by Vishnu

-- Last paid registration for Mar 2008
-- Last smogged 7/06

The Bad
-- Fenders have been cut .5 inch to make room for the bigger tires
-- There are some random scratches and bumps on the door and front fender
-- Missing Front Grille

The Unsure
-- AC Unit has been removed
-- Front Bumper Beam has been removed - for FMIC
-- Trunk has been gutted

I'm looking for $3K. Not interested in any trades.

Thanks,

Steve

The real question is... is it BAR certified for CA?

The car is most definitely going to require a 'special' SMOG

Of course if anyone had an extra 3k myself included, blah blah. just wanted to say to make sure you check the donation rules. was reading with goodwill, you can only deduct the amount the charity makes off the vehicle and they have a certain amount of time to sell it. trying to remember where I was reading., probably be better off parting out or waiting till people start getting tax refunds back.

Do you have all the stock parts from the transplant?

Do you have a receipt from LIC for the work/labor?

Rich

If not then I hope you were able to sell it and not do the donation route. Not to sound like a jerk, but that car is wayyy too nice to be donated to some random place that wouldn't know what to do with it.
