Default Changing spark plugs...need to change all 4?

My CEL came on and it was a misfire from cylinder 4. I want to change the spark plug to see if that is all I need to do. Can I buy just 1 spark plug that is a different brand than the others without it affecting anything? There are NGK's in my car right now.

Thanks,
J

Just replace all of them, spark plugs are cheap.

I would suggest reseating the connectors to the coilpacks first, then swap coilpacks and then spark plugs, if the previous steps dont help you track down the issue.

Compression checks do wonders and let you know what other cylinders are going down hill.. And don't just change one if anything uneven fireing can lead to worse things hahaha
