I was recently at the dealer and picked out a set for my " to be delivered" WRX wagon. For the life of me I cannot remmber the name of them now. I know the name begins with an " R ". I think it was something like Rado. Anyways the center has a small cap that is carbon fiber. Is there anyone out there that might be able to help me. Thanx
Bob

Ummm....let's see,
Maybe try the Subaru website? www.subaru.com click on impreza (top right) then go to wrx sportwagon then click on customize over on the left, and there they are on the right under: 17" 5-spoke aluminum wheels. Do you want to feel bad? , I am just kidding. But really how much did u pay? They may be cheaper over at www.subaruWRXparts.comWell, hope I helped....... ![]() |

Ok,
Well I just checked over at http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/ I hate to admit it, but I was wrong these are not the same exact wheels. They are off the Legacy B-4 from Japan. BUT, they are cheaper, 1160 plus 60 for shipping compared with the one's u went for at 1350. Who knows u might like these better: |

Unfortunately that isnt them either. i am at the suy site right now. The thing that sets them apart is the carbon fiber disk or center cap. It looked as though the small cap was held on with Allan screws. They are very lightweight and are comparable to the Prodrive OZ wheels

Sounds like Rota's. Subzeros (split 5 spoke) or Tarmacs (10 spoke like the P1's)?

Sounds like the dealer is trying to make a quick buck by selling you some cheap aftermarket rims that are probably the wrong offset. And he's probably charging you twice what he paid for them at the local tire shop.
You're better off buying 17" rims yourself ![]() |
