Greg I have already told you keep that thing away from guard rails! (your trailer too)
Greg is right I do react differently. I am a very *different* person. The car goes the finishes backwards better than it goes through fences sideways huh? :-P Greg you ready to start helping with project STU? PS. You and I need to talk colour schemes for your cars extra stickers. This plain boring white stuff isn't workin for me.

I'm mainly ready to punch you......
![]() So I went over to Philly this weekend, mainly to support my peeps. Highlights....the greeting I got at Corey's house, nothing short of awesome. Oh the car is wicked loose. I disassmbled everything this winter and maybe I should re-check the alignment. ![]() Ran Hershey Saturday, Citizens whatever Sunday. Hershey, 4 dirty runs 3rd in pax. Citizens, had to stand on my first run, spun second run...rain 3rd and 4th. 5th in pax. A weekend of throwing it away. Oh well idc...I was happy to be there. Hanging out...I never did get my cheesesteak though so I must go back at somepoint this year.I am really amp'd for the Lincoln Pro......got almost the whole Detroit ESP contingent signed up and I will not win with half ass driving. Love it! |

You came to Hershey and didn't tell me?
![]() Fortunately there is a good cheeseteak place like 1 mile from CBP so it's very easy to get during an off heat. |

Glad you could make it out Greg! Cy and I appreciated having you there for the debut. It's good to catch up after a long winter or wrenching.
What an awesome weekend. Sorry about those Cheesesteaks... we were pretty sure we would miss our heat if we waited in that line. Maybe I can mail you one... swiss widdout. Driving out the side windows is something that takes practice, and you get plenty of it! Wish you could have gotten all your runs in the dry on Sunday. The car looks fantastic in Orange Corey #89 BSP |

You guys are silly.......you fell for it.
Actually I should sell it cause I need to I just keep finding ways to postpone the inevitable. ![]() Until then you can pry the car out of my cold dead hands. Besides, somewhere there's a BW3's receipt that gives it to someone in the event of my untimely demise. ![]() Last edited by mccanixx; 04-02-2010 at 08:27 AM. |

Called it!
Good to know about the 2007 rack, I wasn't too clear on which years were an improvement - is it a one-to-one swap on the 04s or is there some modification needed? (If you have any idea...otherwise, I'll hit that point when I get researching seriously.) No changes now though until the driver improves! |

That's mainly because I have no concept of time.
Quote:
It's a straight forward swap but you need the crossmember as the rack mounts differently. Downside of swap: Power steering lines (pita to loosen/tighten) Lift/support engine, remove motor mount nuts, undo tie rods, undo power steering lines, unbolt crossmember, swap out.....profit. ![]() Yep, just keep driving. Seat time is the best mod (period) |

What's going on?
Had an exhaust leak in PA....crossover pipe was borked and I fixeded it. I took some video of my rear wheels at a TNT this past weekend and what it said was...RAISE YOUR RIDE HEIGHT OR CUT YOUR FENDERS! Everytime the loaded wheel hit the fender well...Bam instant bucking. I then tried it with the rear sway bar detached. Oh man that made it worse, I had all 4 wheels off the ground at somepoint cause the steering wheel did nothing. I like the way the car felt without the rear sway bar but would have to do some work to make it work.Turbo borkded, it's a fogger. Bought another td04 for 50 bucks No love for the tiny snail. ![]() I finally get tuned the 17th for e85. ![]() Biggest downside is I may switch to EL headers in an effort to gain some upper register HP. No more burble burble and that will piss me right the F off. It's a sin! Oh well if the dyno doesn't lie I'll have to conceed! Always countersteering ![]() ![]() |

I had this with the old Civic. Bought a new set of Falkens to replace the old ones. Same size and everything. Everytime you would turn it would lock that outside rear tire and it was like pulling the e-brake during runs. BFH fixed that right up though!

I'm back to studying this thread... especially the front diff section. I might have to chat with you and karen about front helicals, rear diff change necessities, and installs soon.
