Default Leakdown and Compression Test Results

Compression: 1)135 2)148 3)135 4)145

Leakdown: 1)18% 2)10% 3)16% 4)10%

I was told the leaks were all due to blowby through the rings which is pretty common.

My question is how much life do I have left? I'm at stage 2 with a full catless exhaust. I had the test done since I was thinking about a turbo upgrade, but at this point I figure I should leave things the way they are and just get a protune so that it runs as well as it can until it's finished.

Any advice? Thanks.

if your gonna run it till it dies why not kill it with a bigger turbo?

it may not last as long but if you have it in mind to change out the motor anyways have some fun with it

Your compression numbers aren't too bad. They're all within spec and within 10% of each other. Leak down numbers are a little high, but not too horrible tho. I believe less than either 10% or 15% leakage is considered acceptable. I can't remember which it is.

I'd get a protune either way. How long it will last with or without a turbo upgrade is hard to say.

I'm close to 120,000 miles now and I was hoping to go at least 200,000. Maybe I'll just port the turbo and everything else for now and get a protune. Hopefully, this will give me some time to at least save up for a motor.
