Finished tuning today. Phatbotti tuning FTW. Stock STi's make 211awhp on this software. It feels great.

start saving for a motor and trans. You could get the same numbers on pump though.

i will be. i think pump gas is a little more dangerous for the numbers i made. a stock 2011 STi makes 211 on this software. 100 hp more than a stock 2.5l sti makes is pretty good for a 2.0l. given that e85 helps the engine run cooler and cleaner, i'll take the same numbers on e85.

Just starting to build the extra 2.0 block I have. Looking to hopefully hit 500whp on e85 with pt5757. Point is to prove everyone aroundk here that the motor can make the power

Figured I'd update my setup on this thread.... All about high revving, big turbo 2.0s myself

Budget built 2.0, 07 6 speed, surge, etc. all homebuilt... full mods: http://www.tjituning.com

Super HX40 w/ .70 ar BEP housing

(made 491hp on the virtual dyno setting... car weights about 3200 at the track when empty on fuel, no tools etc.)

All 4" piping, 4" borla XR1 in the fender, not terribly loud

Car should trap 127-129 and go 10's. Log was taken at 6600ft, local tracks are 5800ft and 4800ft elevation. If I can drive it properly

Thing loves to rev, and I love it for that

Will make a thread on PPB in a few weeks when temps drop and it hits the track.

Thanks for checking it out,

Todd

Did you have ant trouble fitting the 90 degree coupler coming off of the compressor cover? I have a HX35 and am debating on welding a 90 degree directly to the compressor cover or just using a silicone coupler like you did.

It was a bit of a task... I carefully grinded down the vband to just leave a nice smooth lump to keep the coupler on... Doubled up on clamps to also make sure lol. Seems to be working well...

Love the work General has done in the past year. love the oil cooler idea. might have my friend w/ his build ej25 do that since he has fmic short pipe style courtesy of my design! He is on a twin scroll huge BW turbo off a John Dee of some sort. even has the deer logo on the compressor! made 540whp on the virtual dyno setting and amost 600 w/ the dynojet setting. all on e85. got the turbo off ebay for 200 dollars too!

Here's a look at my rotated GTX3071R setup on my 2.1 stroker. That turbo flows ~57 lbs/min.

It made about 412 whp, but could have kept going maybe another 50 whp on 92 octane pump gas. Dom tuned down the torque curve and power in consideration of my 5-speed. I am satisfied with the results.

I agree, I spun the bearings on three stock blocks at 7.5k. Build for it. I now turn 8k.

Hey guys havent been around in a while lots going on lately. Anyhow, ran across this thread today. Figured I'd throw mine out there.

Ver8 207 completely stock long block oe big ports
AVCS enabled s203 ecu
Perrin rotated 3076 .82 a/r my home brewed I/C pipes w/blow-thru maf
255 fuel pump
PE800s
Externally dumped w/g
Fxt 4.44 fd tranny
Tuned by me 93 octane 24 psi

Oh as far as track times, it's been a while since I've been, but with this set up and numbers in the 425 range the car ran 11.60s @ 118ish 1.90 short times. I'd wager a guess and say she's good for 11.40 @ 120 or so possibly better if I can get it to 60' worth a darn...here's the motor and graph for your viewing pleasure!

Actually just added a dei titanium blanket and wrapped the downpipe, I'll update the pic later

Well figure I will get in on this as well. My car is currently down right now, willl post results of my new set up once its up and running. My old set up was as listed.

stock 04 ej205
reversed IM
ks tech 16mm spacer's
fic 1000's
walbro 255
tgv deletes
rotated gt3076r
precision 39mm EWG
turboxs fmic (hacked up to fit)
turboxs mbc
3" tbe straight pipe
AEM ems
tuned on sd and corn at 21psi
going through a 05 6mt swap.

car was tuned pretty conservativly by Harvey at the boostcreep in Longmont, Co.
Was putting down 374whp. Never got to make a full/clean pass on this set up. When doing the 6mt swap I ran the missing link set up, but it was for sti to gc impreza axles (tiny shafts). Day before going to the track i broke one from a roll, so needless to say I had no intentions of it holding off the 2 step. At the track I never got to do a launch, was leaving from the line as if taking off from a stop light. I still managed a 13.01 at 121mph. So with hopes of setting the stock 205 record, I went home and ordered axles that would handle the job, only to blow through my stg.2 exedy the first time back at the strip. Car is now undergoing quite a few changes still ej205 base though! I believe the car had mid 11's in it if all went well.

old setup was the same supporting mods with blouch evo III big 16g on 20psi making 330whp on a high reading dyno. was really around 300whp but was a blast to drive. we'll see how this setup is. gonna be laggy but should still be fun.

Nice looking set up! How much boost are you planning to run? I'm assuming your on 93oct with only 780cc injectors. And I wouldn't expect spool to be too bad, prolly 45-4700rpm. Lag is over rated anyway, my set up doesn't spool great but definitely revs! How far do you plan to rev yours out to?

Yeah Im running a Precision/Garrett PTE5031 (50 trim) on my stock EJ205. Made 330whp with it, however, throwing a EJ25 in with my port matched heads. Hoping to get a GT3071R soon but will be running the 50 trim on the EJ25 for a little bit
