Default Center cap removal question.

It seems like alot of subarus that I see with aftermarket wheels have the center caps removed. Why is this done ? Didn't find anything using the search function so just thought I'd ask.

its because usually you would have to pay extra for the center caps or they have some replicas they don't want to tell the world about =]

on my 5zigens, i never ever had them on.. they just looked ugly, so i sold them.. mine were the older ones so they came with caps that aren't made anymore, they say "try harder".. interesting mssg, but something that is not in my taste preference

Some center caps are just an arm and a leg for what they are so people don't bother.
