Complete EJ205 from 2002 WRX. I am the original owner of the vehicle/engine and in the process of switching to an EJ255. The car has a build date of 08/01 it was bought 10/01. It has just south of 77K on it, 76,357 to be exact. It has never given me one ounce of trouble. The engine has never been boosted above 18psi and that was during the tune for the SM map I never used. The engine runs great.

2 things I did not do; 1. unmarry the accessport prior to disassembly 2. Take a picture of the odometer prior to disassembly (got to a point in my swap where I could plug my cluster in, updated with pic below). At the time I was thinking of keeping it around for another project.

This comes complete with: Engine, wiring harness (engine compartment, bulkhead, rear, and tank cord), ECU, Fuel pump assembly, pressure sensor assembly, steering column, 2002 wrx cross member /rack, aps long intake, pedal box, throttle pedal w/cable, cruise control module w/cable, and a V1 accessport.

Iíve used royal purple since break-in w/normal oil change intervals. It has never had a larger turbo or a bov, mbc, etc. All internals are stock, it's never been apart. The car is well documented in STX where it spent the last 4 years of its life; it was a DD until February 2005. Since then it has had a relaxed life in the garage most of the time. Otherís that have driven this car will say that it is the 2.0 with the most low-end grunt theyíve ever driven. I donít know why that is.












The only non-stock item on the engine is the gpmoto inlet and of course it has a gutted factory uppipe. The egt and front o2 sensor were replaced July of 2007 just because. The only reason I ran the egt sensor was for the rules in stx, otherwise the upipipe would be plugged and have the egt code cloaked. I also have a stock boost control solenoid that was good when it was replaced prior to the tune in April 2006 if needed.

Iím going to ask: $2400.00 OBO + 3% for paypal + shipping, in the continental U.S., for everything.


Disclosure:

There are 2 maps, both base and realtime, on the accessport that were done by Doug from topspeed, one STX, one SM. If you look at the dyno charts youíll see there is little gain in the SM map. These maps were done with the APS intake only. The APS had the car very, very lean when it showed up for the tune. I would not recommend running the vehicle with the APS without one of the 2 topspeed maps selected. I had them pull the SM map from memory during a dyno day last year, I couldn't find the original.

I will be snipping of the headlight connectors (if this is an issue you could purchase the calterm repair kits, I have not cut them off yet) and I had to snip off the drain valve connector above the charcoal canister. There were quite a few ripped off connectors on the 2007 wiring harness I received.

The clutch and brake pedal box are from the 2007 the clutch switch and one of the brake switches were broken apart (unusable). The switches would need to be replaced. Also the clutch and brake pedal do not have the aluminum covers, they donít come that way for at least the 2007. I only needed the DBW pedal anyways. The A/C compressor is off of the 2007 as well.

I noticed I didnít throw the column in the pic; it will come without steering wheel and cover pieces. I will add the pic later.
