Default Acceleration Sound

Hey I have a 2003 2.5ts with borla headers and a vibrant exhaust. When I accelerate there is a sound coming from under my feet on the drivers side. It sounds like it could be an exhaust leak but when listening to it in the engine bay it is fairly loud. Winter here is really hard on cars but I am worried that it could be more serious than an exhaust leak. Any ideas?

Thanks, NS_Subie

the Borla headers are very thin, i know with my car i can hear the exhaust moving through the headers at WOT. Have it checked for leaks, i know mine has a crack right now and i have already had it welded before. Your best bet would be to have them welded in the weak spots and then wrapped....even though they will probably fall apart from the salt and dirt from winter.
