help me mount my boost gauge!

i just bought an autometer 2inch boost gauge and i dont have a pod. i was wondering does anyone know if you can put it in the vent closest to the drivers side window? and if so has anyone done it? and how do u do it???

There is a vendor on here that TGC or TCG I believe that sells the kit to mount it in the vent. Thanks.
