TiC Radiator T-bolt clamps

Lets face it, the stock radiator hose clamps suck. You have either the spring clamp type or the old wire clamp type. Despite which ones you have they are both just plain awful.

The spring clamp style is a total pain to hold in place, and slide back. You'll cringe if you have to put them on.

The wire style is even worse. Once you loosen it chances are it'll fall apart, bend, and never go back together. You'll be really mad when that's the only car you have, and you need to figure out how to get down to the parts store for a junk replacement clamp.

Given that you could always go with the old standby, the worm clamp. Provided you get a good one local to you. Otherwise you just get to deal with the clamp band stripping out and you're left spinning a screwdriver.

Why bother messing around with all this. Fix it once, and be done with it using our new T-bolt clamps.

These very nice T-bolt style clamps have the following features:
  • Stainless 304
  • Rolled edge to keep from digging into the hose
  • Floating bridge to allow for proper sealing

This kit consists of 4 clamps. That's enough to do both ends of the upper radiator hose, and both ends of the lower radiator hose.

This kit is $32 with free shipping in the US.

You can get them by clicking here.

TiC IC Hose Clamps

If you're anything like us you end up working on your car quite a bit. Not out of necessity, but out of enjoyment.

One of the things that we have found is that just about any time we need to work on the motor we have to remove the intercooler. Here's the thing we've discovered about removing the intercooler over and over again - the stock worm clamps suck!

So, we came up with a package that included some really really nice clamps with the Samco IC hoses. Then we got to thinking - what about all those guys who have the Samco hoses, but are still using the ultimate in suckiness clamps. Why not be nice guys and offer just the camps for those guys who need (most likely you) to upgrade their clamps.

So, here's what we have - The better IC hose clamp package

What you get is two clamps for the IC to throttlebody connection, and one clamp for the turbo to IC hose connection.

In true TiC fashion we go overboard, and do it up nice. These are T-bolt clamps. And not just any old run of the mill T-bolt clamps. Oh no, that just wouldn't be our style. We even went beyond that level, and we're hooking you up with spring loaded T-bolt clamps.

What this gets you in a nice consistent clamping pressure loaded through the entire band of the clamp. With just a small amount of torque on the nut you can generate 300 lbs/in of clamping force. Say good-bye to slipping and blown-off hoses if you're running higher boost than stock. Here's a few other nice features of these clamps:
  • 300 Series Stainless Steel Bands and Trunnions
  • Floating Bridges
  • Superior Two-piece Trunnions
  • Zinc Plated T-Bolts and Nuts
  • One-Piece Springs

This kit is $35 with free US shipping.

You can get them by clicking here.

I think this is a great idea. But what about all the other guys with FMIC kits with sucky ones. You guys should put a kit together for them. I would probably buy one, as i am searching for some. I have a aps 525 kit. could i get a quote on that. I think there are about 12 and a couple small ones for the bov. Just an idea anyways.

That's actually something we've been talking about, but not had a chance to put together.

MMmm clamps. That's a great idea. I think my factory hoses are close to failure because of the factory clamps.

We've seen some pretty gnarly stock clamps on all the motor swaps we've been doing lately. That's what prompted this.

Give 'em the clap???

I may have to order some clamps though. Any discount for ordering both sets together?

Also - any clamps for the turbo inlet?

Actually you may be in luck on the inlet. We just got in a couple of other sizes that we're going to keep in stock. Like 2.5" for those folks with front mounts that came with crappy clamps.
