Default STI engine mounts & pitch rod swap...

So my engine is out getting work done, I've got one broken & one cracked engine mount. I'd like to re-place those with the STI mounts & pitch rod...will they fit my chassis just the same???

I swaped my stockers for Group N STi mounts on a 02 bugeye. Everything should be a direct bolt-in.

Kind of a pain to do...... but with the engine out it should be much easier. The stiffer mounts cause slightly more vibration in the cabin but do get rid of the driveline shake when starting or shutting down the engine or getting in and out of the throttle quickly.

Good luck

Thanks for the info!
I also just talked to Tom at techworkseng.com 'bout some stuff, he said the sti mounts would be the way to go & they would fit. Decided to not go with the up-grade of the pitch rod mount....

Yeah, the engine mounts will fit, but one bolt on each side is an utter nightmare.

Don't waste your money on the pitching stop though.
