Default what color is this Rota?

So I bought my car with Rota Boosts already on it. I recently had a little ice mishap and need to purchase a replacement wheel. When I sent pictures of my wheel to wheeldude they couldn't tell if the color was Steel Grey or Gunmetal. I was hoping some people with Rota's could tell me what they think this is.

'Gunmetal' looks different for every wheel on thier website. Different enough that they sometimes don't even seem close to the same color, same with 'Steel Grey'.

That is Steel Grey, definiately not Gun Metallic which is a dark color.

The color will depend on the lighting conditions, a lot of the colors vary depending on direct/indirect light.

Here's the same Gun Metallic wheel shot with different lighting to show the variances.

You sound very confident in that answer.

Thank you for the helpful (and quick) answer, I was leaning toward steel grey but I wanted to get more opinions because I would hate to have to send a wheel back for a diff color since my car is down until I get the right one.

and that top picture of the gunmetal is what had me on the fence. That is awfully close to my wheel, but I think the bottom is a little closer to what gunmetal really is.

Now the big question... Do you have one available in 17x8 - 114.3?

I've always seen a hint of bronze in gunmetal wheels, thats why I think its gray, theres no bronze tones in your wheels.

Yes I'm confident

Also here's a picture of Steel Grey from our gallery for reference

I'm not sure when your email was sent or who replied to it but maybe they mentioned Steel Grey or Charcoal Grey (both the same shade but Charcoal Grey has a matte finish) as these are two colors the Boost did come in. When looking at the full car shot it's hard to tell but the up close shot shows a glossy clear coat so it should definitely be Steel Grey. Gun Metallic has metallic flake in the paint and is far darker than what is in your picture.

PM sent about the single wheel replacement.
