Mine might still be for sale. I've been thinking of getting a wagon instead.

Three months is a long time, there is always the chance that a better deal will come up in those three months. It's highly doubtful you'll stick to an agreement to buy someone's car in three months, when it's possible during the final month a car goes up for sale that you really like and is a better deal than the one you have in mind already. It will be a mess that will leave a bunch of people unhappy.

I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve by doing this, because I don't see the point unless you found a great deal that you really want, but can't get now. In that case, a legal contract would have to be made between you and the seller, but that's very impractical.

Well I'll be here waiting with popcorn to see what happens in three months.

Anyway stop being naive and just wait it out, I'm sure you can't wait until you get a WRX at 17!
