Post Anyone interested in another garage day in CT?

I was thinking about hosting another garage day for anyone who wants to clean, do small repairs, tune ups, etc... Pretty much anything that doesn't require the car being unable to drive for more than a few hours. I know a few of you have shown some interest in it before. Let me know what you guys think. And if anyone has a date preference let me know, it has to be on a Sat though. Thats it, hope to here from you soon.

only if we can spill half a bottle of syrup on your parents new rug again!
im interested... but my weekends are booked until march! even though i wont be here - maybe the day before the winter-X in bristol everyone will want to give their cars a once over? maybe some local people can offer a place to stay for non-local people. i need to see what time i will be getting in on sat night to see if i can offer my place. that def would be cool though... assuming that the weather cooperates for the winter-X.

You mean I can't tow my project car down there, pull the motor, add a few new rods, put the motor back in and then drive it home?

Hmmm, maybe I will order my H&R OEs by then and throw them on my Teg that weekend. It will only be my 3rd time messing with my shocks and springs.

For those who don't know. Boom, has one of the fattest garages around. Plus, he has like every tool you will ever need. I highly recommend going there even if you don't have anything to do.

Well now redobs, don't play it up too much, but thanx for the compliment. Although there is some truth to it, my dad and I work at an Auto Body shop and have a full setup of tools, and air compressor. And its heated. As for Breaka19 I don't think you would want to do all that work in my garage, after the way you were complaining about your hands hurting after working for the day, I would say a project that large should be done by people who do physical work for a living. Just Kidding Well anyway, Boomer has the right idea, except I have a wedding to go to on the 24'th. Sorry guys. How about the weekend after that or something. Let me know what ya think.

All I can say is "Ouch". You got me good Boom. But suspension is a bitch to work on. Too much struggle with the parts.

I might be doing my motor pull on the weekend right after the Wintercross, so that wouldn't be good for me. But I might not have any parts to isntall that weekend anyways, so it might not matter.

Just have it whenever its good for you and I will try to be there.

Boom,

Sounds like a good idea. I'd like to do the light tune-up (plugs & fuel filter). I'd also like to do my diff. fluid, but I know you had some concern as to the fluids. I'll see if I can find a place to bring them.

Basically, I'm looking to do the recommended 30K tune-up.... minus oil change and 'light' stuff I can do at home.

Any date works for me...

Yeah Breaka19, I know how bad the suspensions are. I was only kidding, I hope you didn't take offense to it. Ok, I will have in March, seems like thats the most popular month so far. I will post a date sometime in the next few weeks, once I get a handle on the stuff thats going on for me in March.
Talk to you all later

I might be interested in coming down and meeting some of you guys (or getting to know you better). I have an intake and 30K mile service stuff I need to do, and right now I have no stereo. I am still trying to decide if I want to dynomat the car or not.

If you guys narrow down a date in March I could probably make it. I figure you local guys should get to pick the date since it is easier for you all to get together, and I just see if I can make it or not.
