Thumbs up FS: Blinder Laser jammers

I'm selling these laser jammers with the original box and all hardware needed for the install. They work great and look very stealth. They retail for $429 but they're priced to sell. I'm looking for $200, local sale preferred. (I originally had the M20 version (hence the M20 box) but there was a recall on my serial # so they were sent back and I was sent their newest M25 version.)

No..but thanks for the offer. I'd prefer a local sale but I'm open to shipping it if needed.

That's a killer price.

To help facilitate sale, find out from the Blinder guys what version you have.

Best of luck!

Here are the numbers that are on the back of the transponders for whoever is inetersted:

5E 7.25.04 HP-J9 S/N: AC 42925
YW 0704

I orginally had the M20's but they malfunctioned due to extreme cold in Ohio so Blinder guy sent me brand new transponders (latest version which at the time were the M25 if I'm not mistaken)

I wonder if that's what happened to my M20's (lived in Syracuse).

Could be. It was a problem with the first couple batches of M20's. Mine would randomly set off the alert. Blinder guy was great to deal with though and they sent me a brand new set of transponders

From what I read, it's a $50 fine and maybe confiscation of the units.

Used properly (once alerted, slow-to-reasonable/PSL ASAP [here, note that this means that if you're "hyperspeeding," something like this, more than likely, will NOT be of much help, this kind of device is most useful in that "gray-zone of speeding 15-20+ MPH, in, say, a PSL of 60-70 MPH], without undue dramatics), there's no reason that such a device would elicit any enforcer's bad reactions.

Currently, no LIDAR-based speed measurement device in North America offers reliable "jam-detection."

The LTI devices which will report with an "E-07" jam-code will only do so with brute-force jamming (such as with the old Lidatek LE-10; the Blinder, as well as all other current devices, are look-up-table algorithm based, and respond to specific pulsetrain input from the police LIDAR threat, with a reply that's also of a specific pulsetrain) devices.

The Laser Atlanta devices' "potential jam" as well as "jam" codes are both unreliable, and will return with spurious reports of jamming with anything from common vehicle DRLs (both standard halogen incandescent as well as HID), as well as when clocking "empty air."

Honestly, jammer-use's "legality" is really a non-worry, as long as one uses the device properly.

The "J9" part of the name would say that they're that particular revision, but I honestly don't know if they are Mx5 or Mx0 units. Although I have been with Blinder products, my intimate knowledge of them is not up-to-spec.

I'll try to ask around.
