Default Alarm horn dead. Easy replacement?

My factory alarm horn has died for the second time. The dealership wanted to charge me close to $150 just to replace it. Is there an cheaper way to get my alarm back? I don't care what it does just as long as it makes noise when i un/lock my vehicle. Also, where is it located on the vehicle?

Your HORN, or an add-on siren?

Does your horn honk when pressing the steering wheel?

did you try pressing both buttons on the remote at the same time to see if the horn was just turned off?

On the 04 you have a small piezo beeper, located up front by the radiator, which is what "chirps" for arm/lock and disarm/unlock, plus a separate security horn located on the passenger strut tower which is what sounds when the alarm is activated. It's more common for the beeper to go bad, but you should specify which one you actually need.

I apologize, i was at work and typing fast so i didn't get caught.

The small piezo beeper is the part that went bad. And i already tried all the houdini codes for the remote to make sure that wasn't the issue.

Is there an alternative other than the stock one to replace it with? Where near the front radiator is it located?

Not to hijack (well I am so deal...lol)

My moms Fozzy often has a slight TONE comming from that buzzer.. ?? It doesn't seem to run her batt down or anything, but, it's odd to walk into thier garage and hear this super high pitched tone comming from the front of the car...

any thoughts?
