Default New Subi owner, not a new tuner

whats up guys, Just want to make myself known here. I just bought a 98 Version 4 STI wagon (I live in Japan) and I didn't do to much research on STi's before I bought it. I've had my hands on a handful of project cars and I have to say, next to building my turbo V6 MR2, this one is going to be fun. my question is, now that i have this thing, if you had 2 yrs and 5K to play with, what things would you do? Any imput helps, I plan to bring this back with me to the states when I return (one way or another) so I want to get everything done I can now.

JT

Its almost completely stock, it has a OS giken twin plate clutch, other than that. all factory STI options are on it, and its a Wagon!!!

I'll get some pics soon, the only thing I'm unhappy with is it came with some Speedline wheels I think, 16" with snow tires...Thats going to be the first upgrade.

I'd like to see pics of the car too. What speedline wheels are they? I could be interested if you want to ship them to the US.

Doing anything to that car would be a sin. I would have to inform Subaru of the aformentioned abuse and have the car confiscated, and put into a protective home mainly mine. All kidding aside, get that car here to the states and I will give FMV for it, the whole thing. Only if it is stock though. I always wanted a Wagon STi (1998 was a platinum MY globally) that is why I haven't bothered with one until the '08's came out.

pics, pics, pics, pics

Hi, iīm from Japan too and also have a STi. Let me know what are you going to get, and where. My 06 Sti is completely Stock even has the 180km/h limiter and want to do some bolt-ons on him. But donīt know where to do the tuning, and what choose to tune. Where do you live? I live in Aikawa. Thanks!

I live in Fussa Shi/Tachikawa district.

Ok, today is my last work day this week and on Tuesday, I gave it a full detail. She only has 1 small ding in the front Right fender. so if someone would be so kind as to point me in the right direction on how to post pics, I'll do so, I may even post up some pix of subi's I snap from the Tokyo auto salon, since its this weekend and all.

Thx

That wagon is very nice, congrats!

There are ways to get it back if you are willing to do the work.
