Default Driver Side Wiper Broke

So the other day there was just a little bit of ice on my windshield. I turned the wipers on after letting the car defrost for about 15mins. Then the arm went up halfway up then stopped. It seems as if the nut is loose holding the arm to the motor. How do you access this nut?
-Thanks in advance

You can just pop the little cap off the base of the wiper arm. There's a 12mm nut underneath. The arm is on a tapered spline and sometimes they can work a little loose.
