Seems almost like it's a bigger turbo than a 39. A bit laggy and power didst drop off a 7000rpm. Did you like the tgv delete mod?

That's laggy as hell for the that turbo and setup. My 30R comes on full at the same time.

Cobb pulley is a nice piece, not under driven, its just lighter. Didn't notice any gain obviously.

TGV deletes were awesome, definitely noticed gains up top.

Android I recommend checking out ECS for sure.

I was thinking it was a bit laggy as well...And it doesnt fall off up top?!?

I dont look at many vf39 sheets but it seems odd that my 18G w/FMIC comes on sooner, yet falls off just a tad up top compared to this.

Nice job tho as long as you are happy

timing seems to be a bit conservative (unsure without a log). May be to the fact that he's got you at 20 psi on a 39...thats kinda pushing that turbo. Curious to see what your IDC's are like

Ryan,

You know I'm always conservative with my timing on stock motors.

Not very happy w/ my tune.

Dont forget every dyno reads differently. Yours just might be a 290 car on ECS's dyno.

Looks like its a good tune. Not much power on the bottom end, but holds it till red line, which you usualy dont see in the smaller turbo department.

Couple things. That VF-39 is spooling really late, even for a EJ20, but that may not be the tune, it could easily be the way the Dynapak is setup. For starters, there is no reason to pull a WRX in third gear on the Pak, the reason for the line being so squiggly is because it's in a higher torque gear, and those dyno's love that (Sarcastic smiley here). If this pull would have been done in 4th with the proper ramp time, the line would have been more linear, and boost may have come on a bit sooner. I have no idea how the dyno was setup, but if the duration of the pull was too short, then the turbo would spool up late and hold boost a bit better up top. The car has an MBC, so it's really not WG tuning related.

The tune itself looks ok, AFR's come in nice as boost increases, a little conservative on the AFR at lower boost, but better safe than sorry.

Dynapak's are a beast of their own, you can get a tuner who knows how to tune on any other load bearing dyno, stick them on a Dynapak and watch their tune go to complete chaos, I've seen it for years, they are just a very unique tool to tune cars with.
