Default Head gasket warranty cover 2nd owner of used car?

Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes.

I've got a slow external coolant leak. I got the car used with about 70k on it in early 2007, and changed the coolant (with the conditioner) shortly after that. The car now has 81k on it, and there's a slow coolant leak. I just cleaned up the engine so I could get a better idea of how fast it's leaking, because it was basically covered in grime. But my reservoir went from the full line to the low line over the course of about 6 months, so it's a slow loss.

There is no oil in the coolant, nor coolant in the oil. I also have some weeping oil, which might be from a different place in the HG's, or a seal in the back of the engine? I can't tell, there's no line of sight.

Anyways, should the Subaru head gasket warranty cover me if I take it in before 8 years / 100,000? I have no idea if the previous owner put the coolant conditioner in, and the warranty states that it has to go in "promptly."
