Keep your eyes on the classifieds as I'm contemplating selling my NIB PowerFC, Datalogit and PowerFC BC and going to a different EM.

Which ecu you are running will have an impact on how much boost the car has. It should be pretty quick regardless, but there are better stock ecu's which will run more boost. If you dont already have one, you might try finding a Z4.

... Also our ecu's can be chipped to run a few more psi. Most chips will bring you to around 16psi or so and give you more pump gas friendly timing maps.

his ej20g is the wrx RA. has the W6 ecu. from the 93 wrx ra motorset. id recommend if using a stock ecu, go with a Z4 or a SC ecu. can be found fairly cheap. around $200 and less. then buy a manual Boost controller man.

wrx ra means...closed deck...forged..nice flowing heads. i think witha evo 16g....you should be good to go. not alot to worry about. also if you blow it up, it is an easy fix. for cheap.

i had a simmular setup in my wagon, but stock TD05h 16G. made 245AWHP at 15+-PSI.

but the injectors were maxed out. you may wanna look into larger injectors.

Why an evo3 16g anyway?

Did that ra motor not come with a 16g on it already? It should have had the td05 "16g" to begin with... Not really any kind of upgrade going to an evo3 from that... basically another stock jdm car that came with a 16g on it... The real upgrade is the turbine section... which you cant use on your car. You would have to swap in your subaru td05 turbine housing to make it bolt up to the up-pipe.

you can do the 90 degree, what kind of shape is that evo 16g in? i know someone with another jdm 16g with the 90 degree inlet that would probably do a trade with you. no play and very low miles, if u are willing to do a even trade and ship to the usa. shipping should be around 33bucks via UPS with a weight of 14lbs.

Rob.....(the guy who made the coil conversion thread)

he chips stock ecu...
he told me something like, he ups the boost to 18psi..no speed limiter. ups the rev limiter.. and some other stuff... talk to him... i was thinking about doing it... its a WAY cheaper solution then getting a standalone

Yeah buy you don't have the same performance cause i'm going bigger injector and bigger turbo than the stock ecu has with some bolt on

The project is to get over 300WHP by next year.. cause i've never driven turbo car so i need to get used to it for a bit especially here in our weather one day you wake up and you door is blocked with snow, the other day there's nothing..
