Question STI gauge cluster

I am about to purchase an STI gauge cluster, I am assuming it is the same generation of WRX because it is the exact same style as my stock one.
I have a couple of concerns...

Will this just hook right up or will there be complex wiring involved?

Are there some features that will not work? Will it cause any check engine lights or error codes because it is not what the ECU expects to see?

I'd love to hear from anyone who has done this mod before.
Thanks!

You may wanna ask Al... I don't know if he has it or not.

You will probably have some issues with the tachometer/redline/warning indicator. Since the STi revs higher, it has a higher redline. Therefore don't forget to shift.

Aside from the speedometer in km/h... odometer too, I'm not sure about those.

I'm sure there's some other things.
