Yellow Wheels on Silver Wrx

i have always wanted yellow wheels, i was bored but here is my rough draft lmk what u think plz... still needs another coat of yellow and clear coat,, air brushed by me... debating whether to do them all.

You might need to put up more of a straight on side shot to get a better feel for how the wheels look on your car. You might get more opinions after posting a picture like that.

not feeling it personally, especially with the polished lip

yellow gives the feel of a real track car, but the polished lip makes me think more bling than track.

would look better if the entire wheel (including lip) was yellow.

i like the yellow/silver combination, i saw someone locally with a silver STi with yellow wheels and those yellow/blue iridescent fog lights, looked pretty sharp in my opinion.

heres another one i made, just to see what it would look like... im actually going to a powder coat place. they are going to charge me $220 for all four wheels. bengal yellow

I have gold (UK17) wheels on my silver wrx, but yellow...hmm... Need to be convinced with moar pics. Although, wheels color is a subjective opinion. If you've always wanted yellow wheels, then congrats!

About the hood deflector...isn't that bad for WRX/STI? Aren't they meant for RS/2.5s? They're suppose to deflect airflow to the hood scoop.

i didnt really look into that when i bought it but it is made for wrx/sti. the 0405 sti hood scoop is massive compared to any other year, i dont think it deflects too much air. i actually got into an accident with the deflector and it saved my hood from damage lol

so i finally decided to go w/ yellow, im keeping the lip polished and im matching the calipers yellow... they will be finished on thursday. ill post the new pics thursday. color is "bengal yellow" $295 total.
