Used to go to These(VW, Imports, Muscle car's, etc... events) when I lived in DC. Have fun, and look out for cops, they are always looking for the fast & the furious. You can't even wait at the Bus Stop down there(OC, RT. 1) without cops asking how much you have had to drink.

Also, I had my design drawn up. Just need to come up with funds to have a batch of flanges cut and to order some materials. So if anyone is interested in having anything coated or any PnP items let me know, it would help me out alot with getting things going with the new shop. I added a few more pics to my photobucket if anyone wants to check them out, http://s295.photobucket.com/albums/mm141/Mycues1982/

So after living in PA for about 4 years now, I'll officially become a resident when I surrender my NYS license for a PA license. I've never been harrassed for having out of state plates so I just left it that way. Points don't transfer over to NY so I thought it made good sense to keep everything for NY.

what a ****ty couple of days.

Storms created massive outages in our service territory and people are flipping out.

I just had a screaming match with a customer for the first time in about 3 years. At least I won. But it was right in front of my boss and coworkers. Can't wait for the weekend. I'm goign to take it out on somebody at hockey tonight.

phone support is just a 'hobby' I have on the side...

I was super stressed because of all the running around we've had to do because of these outages, and then this *******'s assistant calls, I get put on the phone with her, she won't do anything I recommend, and says she'll wait for their computer techs to come in and talk with me because she's not "Technical" even though I was holding her hand through everything, so, whatever. Then her boss calls and tries to bitch me out for not helping her.

It wasn't really a tech support issue, it was some ******* being misinformed and blaming me for his problems.

you get that PM I sent you? Important stuff

Also, I'm in the process of gathering resumes to interview some people so someone else can actually be here and answer the calls and let the alpha male work.

In fact he has most likely put together the strongest tdo4 based car in this wonderful thread. I keep waiting for blouch to market what he had them do to his turbo.
http://www.blouchturbo.com/turbos/WR...essor_Upgrade/

their marketing is how I found out about it, don't give me all the credit. It does a little better than 310 I think. Closer to 325/330 crank I'd guess, comparing it to an STi on the same dyno. I think with a stretched out tune you can get close to 300 crank with a stock td04. Maybe the 20 over their estimate is due to me, but the turbo was all them.

Got my mini shop set up in the basement to put the RS motor together and a "new-to-me" crank on the way since the one in the motor was hosed. I'd like to have it mostly together and on a stand before the car gets here. That's where the real work is needed. With it all apart there is lots to PnP, which I should have been doing all winter I suppose.

Yeah, sorry, it is No...
Thank goodness. I left VW for Subaru so I wouldn't have to worry about coilpacks for a long time.

Good luck though

I have one that's not firing all the time at idle. Changed plugs, have constant misfire on one cylinder. I moved the coilpack and the misfire followed and didn't stop till fuel corrections were at -25..

Just moving it to a different cylinder seems to point it out. Yeah checking with a known good coilpack will seal the deal though. No check engine light?

Well I can read the misfire through romraider so I know what cylinder it was occuring from and that it moved when I moved th coil. Cel came on as expected and plugs were both black on that side of the engine. I've been havin some speratic corrections at idle and have been trying to pinpoint the issue so I did a compression test and plug change than the repetitive cylinder misfire occured afterwards.

BAH! Not getting that GC8. Been emailing back and fourth with the guy setting stuff up and he just sent a message to me saying it just sold.. Kind of pissed since he said he wasn't going to be free until Saturday for me to come out and check it out. He didn't even give me a chance to look at it. We were set up to meet in the AM tomorrow. I had just taken the money out for it too.

Wasn't one of you guys that snatched it up on here was it?

That sucks man, I emailed him right when I saw it and he didn't get back to me for like 2 days and said he was overwhelmed with response from it, and I was just asking for more pictures and stuff. I hope no bozo got it.

Can't blame him for selling it though, sometimes its hard to find a real buyer.
