So, basically if I get a Protune, they would provide me with the base map and realtime map with my accessport right? What does a Protune cost these days?
Agile is about $500. That is about the average rate for your first tune. If you just need to update the map for new mods it gets a little cheaper.

Have any of you had a Protune with a similar setup? How were the results? I guess we have to drive to IAG or Agile for this service.

My suspension is completely stock. What type of suspension setups are you guys running here in Pittsburgh? I want to upgrade, but the roads here are terrible.

SHANE
i'm running basically that exact same setup now and love it! as for suspension i agree with the kyb agx struts and eibach proline spring (running both of those as well) strut bars are also a cheap but very well worth investment

I am about to pick up a fender roller and heat gun that I will be renting out. not for about a month though. I have so much going on I just can't get to that yet.

Because it is a turbochargers.com turbo. Avoid them like the plague. Bad things happened with them at least once.

I had a lot of problems with rust after I rolled the fenders on my RS after the paint cracked. Didn't use a machine to do it though.

When are you planning on going? I am thinking about heading down there the 6th or 7th of March for a tune....of course only if I can get everything on earlier that week.

most people like 99.9% get paint cracks when they roll. ryan did mine with a heat gun and roller and i still got small paint chips. you just got to remember to touchup the cracks/chips

i don't have my march work schedule yet so i'm not sure on a time. looking to get parts with tax return and use a clark tuner map til Agile

Yeah, I hear ya, and I touched up, and even sprayed with undercoating over it all, and it still would peel and get chipped off every year, and with the tons of salt used around here, was no match despite my best efforts. I'm just issuing a friendly warning that rolling the fenders is not totally benign. My plan before I totalled the stupid thing, though, was to get CF fenders to replace them.

Damn Suby paint. Too thin.
The one thing I miss about German cars, thick metal and good paint.

Stupid expensive for a bunch of pointless features. Snap-in stock-like is overrated and not worth an extra 80 bucks. . . got this email today and laughed out loud.

Shek, I want to meet Frank. I haven't seen him since he moved in. . .

Hence the heat gun. Isis rolled my fenders and was pretty aggressive when he did it. No cracks in the paint. No rust. It was almost three years ago.

No one I know has ever seen him. I was kind of digging the aluminum hardware on the ebcs.

Oh and for all you Fallout guys incase you didn't hear..... there's gonna be another expansion level released soon (haven't looked into a date) but it's going to be call "The Pit" which mean Pittsburgh!!! there was a write-up in sunday's paper about it. Pgh hasn't been hit directly with the nuclear bomb but has suffered from it and blah blah blah. But the fact that it takes place in Pgh and will have the point and 3 rivers will be pretty sweet!!

Jesse, Frank is being held back by weak spark. Believe me, we are both waiting anxiously for this issue to be corrected.

IMO a protune is the way to go, Agile is almost exactly a 4 hour drive and leaves just enough gas in the tank to switch to C16 and get a race gas map too, lol.

Hi everyone...I am going through suby withdrawl, haven't moved the STi more than 3 feet in a few months (took insurance off it this winter). Looking forward to hopefully catching some of you at an autocross or a meet now that I have some normal sized tires to drive on..

Yeah how about that. We are considered to be the best team in the second toughest conference. Even though we are rated higher I am worried about those ACC teams.
