I've got a EJ205 longblock from my 02 WRX wagon. I haven't pulled it apart yet but from the way it was burning oil it must have a bad piston ring or ringland or two. Its just an assembled block and heads w/ timing belt cover and oilpan still on it. This would be perfect for rebuilding with forged internals.

I've got an old EJ205 block all torn apart in my garage. Bought it with plans of using it for a build, but went a different route.

happened yesterday. theres a squeaking noise that sounds like there's a hamster running on a hamster wheel about 750 rpm. not to mention the loud metallic clacking noise coming from the driver side of the engine...it doesn't matter that they're sexy, you need to get rid of them. only more bad stuff will happen if you keep them.

To drop forged pistons in my motor and do a few things here and there will cost me about 1400 (assuming that there is no other damage). What are the details and price on the block?
