Default Outback Owners Most Likely to Get Tickets

MSNBC published interesting article at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28623614/. It examines which car models are most likely to get some kind of traffic citation. Surprisingly, only Subaru in top 10 list was Subaru Outback. Wish we could see entire list.

There seems to be an heavy foreign bias on the most tickets and a heavy domestic bias on the least...

now i don't know the numbers exactly for sales, but i'd say that might have something to do with the fact that more domestics bought are pickups in general while most cars bought are foreign made, and cars get more attention than trucks in the ticketing/citation world

well, maybe so many older people drive them that they get tickets and ruin it for us young outback owners.

I wonder if it's a matter of vehicular profiling or if certain demographics of asshats truly gravitate towards certain vehicle models...

no surprize on scions making the top ticketed...99% of scion (TC) drivers i see are either teenage guys (it's the new civic!) that rev on me at lights and females aged 16-28 that are doing 15+ over the speed limit

as far as h2/h3's, i think we all know the type that usually drive those vehicles...

the outback making the list is weird, all i see is the over 55 crowd driving them around here

I.E. the Corvette, Mustang, Camaro...

...Camaro is like the Redneck Lamborghini.

I once got turned-down by a country girl because my BMW "was not a Camaro."

I told her I would wear a Chevy bowtie on my ****-ring, but she wasn't biting - pun intended.

it's surprising the outback is high on the list, and not a WRX or something though

Do you really think she'd tell you if she had?

4 of the least ticketed cars are old people cars, so it's no surprise there. Plus the minivan, and there's half of them.
