Thumbs up Howdy from Japan

Just saying wassup from the good old country of Japan. Gots some nice pics of mah dream cars and some new impreza magazines. Haven't got any car parts yet though because I don't have any rides to anywhere off base. I have to walk to places off base. Ate lots of sushi from this restaurant with a conveyor belt full of different kinds of sushi. Our contact here is busy and I am working when he is off work. Ahl try Okinawa when I get there.

If you brought back some STI 6 speeds, you could probably sell them for 200% profit.

Can't wait to see the pictures.

I gots the WRX mag and the Legacy mag already but if you want your own I can do that too. Its in yen so I am not 100 percent sure how much exactly it is. Seen lots of B4 legacy's and an Sti forester if there is such a thing. Grills are different here for the Foresters. Lots of GC8 but only seen one new body style WRX STi with JDM projector with Sti lip.

I didn't get to finish what I was saying cuz our contact here for parts just came and picked us up. He was saying that the WRX parts are hard to come by because they are newer and not a lot at the junkyards. He does do a business here somewhat and ships b16 engines to Long Beach. I have priced JDM projectors for 127000 yen. Figure that price out with 136 yen to the dollar. That is HID projectors. This is from the Subaru dealership there. I have also picked up brochures there for the WRX and B4. I forgot about the B4 headlights for aksubie. We are planning to go to autobacs tomorrow if there is time and maybe some street races at night if we are not working. Our friend over here said that the big boys with the 700 hp Skylines and RX-7 will be out. I guess rx-7's are more popular here than supras. I also saw the new Civic Type R at the dealership too. He is also selling 2 sets of gold 16's rims for the impreza. One is the stock and the other is Speedline. Resbum wants them both. I am trying to pry it off of him.

Kapa,

See how much RB26's go for over there. They are a very popular conversion for the Z cars (z240, 260, 280.) You might be able ot make a good profit off of those. I also hear, that you can edge one into a 90+ 300zx......... schweet!

Can you pick me up a Skyline rag? I'd be really thankful if you could.

Thanks,

Scott:

Part number noted and Skyline mag noted. There's a used skyline here for sale for $8000. I will check on engine prices for the RB26. So what's the conversion price in dollars for the jdm projectors? Around $1000 for HID's?

Now if only they would let you import that skyline.

Now, you know why motorex can stay in business...

When you can buy a used R33 GTR w/ 30,000 miles for $15,000 and import it, then charge $54,000 for it and get it. Not bad if you ask me.

There's also used WRX's here for the same price and a newer body style rex for $15000 approximately. The momo steering wheel for the rex has a different center piece and the seat design is better looking. Ahl try to take a picture. Didn't bring a camera today.

Conversion for the JDM HIDs is $934US. That is a damn good price. I'd like a set of those.

What body Skyline R34, R33, R32, and model GTR,GTS-T,GTS-4?

I'll get the part numbers for you or just use your broken japanenglish. Or use hand signals. They love it when you use a japanese accent with your english while talking really slow.
