Both turbos are in good shape with no excessive shaft play and good bearings. I'll take pictures and a video clip of me spinning the shafts if you'd like.

I'll post them up later on today.

EJ257 longblock - comes with the heads I'm guessing, but what about the intake?

I've been following a lot of threads about 2.0 based strokers. Any kits for that?

good catch. Sorry that's a typo. It's a new shortblock. Sorry.

I have some pistons on order for a 2L stroker kit. I have the rods, crank and bearings already. I'm just waiting on the pistons.

I have a complete stroker shortblock on hand. It's a base stroker engine.
EJ205 block
Coated CP pistons (92.5mm bore)
STi rods
STi crank
ACL bearings

$3000.00

Nice! Fully assembled? With the rods being stock STi, what redline would you recommend, based on what the rod/stroke ratio could support?

It is fully assembled and sitting here.

I recommend a redline of 8000+. The pistons are lighter than the 207 pistons and lighter than the STi pistons so the load on the rods is less at the higher rpms. The rod ratio affects the power band a little up there as well, but timing the cams properly would help get it back.

Crap, if an RB26 has a ratio of 1.5 and can do what it does, there's no reason we couldn't get this 1.66 ratio to scream.

Pictures of the GT35R.

This is a used GT3582R Center section with brand new ATP turbine and Compressor housings. It is available with a standard .63 A/R 4 bolt style Turbine housing for a rotated setup if someone desires. If purchased with the ATP turbine housing, a new ATP install kit will be included.

Install Kit:

ATP Install Kit:
Oil feed line with restrictor.
Oil drain line with clamps
Water lines
Discharge hose with clamps
Pressure port
Up pipe spacer
Stepdown sleeve for 2.4 inlets (not recommended, but supplied regardless)

EVERYTHING you need to install an ATP turbo. This is what makes these turbos a deal.

what do you have in the form of a stock style STi complete engine? i spun a rod bearing in my '02 wrx and would rather swap the entire engine than try to break down the block to replace bearings.

OR

is there a much cheaper alternative i'm missing to getting my issue fixed? and while inside the block, swapping out some internals to make her a bit nastier than the stock WRX numbers?

thanks for any help.

sorry, don't have any complete factory STi engines. We do custom builds for the most part. We can order just about anything, but I don't tend to keep bone stock longblocks around. I have custom longblocks available. I'd offer you one, but you said "cheap". We don't do "cheap" when it comes to custom builds.

Maxwell Propulsion Systems is now Maxwell Power Services.

To put it short, Craig Woolman and myself (Dominic Acia), have taken over the automotive division of Maxwell Propulsion Systems. Since we're in the same building, do the same job, have the same equipment, nothing has really changed except a lot of paperwork, new owners and the new name: Maxwell Power Services.

Does that FP Green have a water jacket or is it oil cooled only? Any shaft play and pics?

I'm sorry, I forgot to update the thread. The turbo is sold.

It was water cooled and oil cooled.

you could buy one of our hybrid rotating assemblies and then get the GT35R. We can do cams too!

You know, because money is no object...

spend all you want, they'll print more.

Don't get me started on the idiots who are running this country.......

I see you do custom cam grinds, what about a JDM cams? I'm going to be swapping a version 7 and fear that cams will cost an arm and a leg if I ever go that far with this build.

if you send the factory cams, we can have them ground to just about whatever you want.
I'd recommend sending the whole head to us. We can get the cams ground, put new valves in, grind the seats, new buckets and set the valve lash properly. They'll be like brand new heads.
We also do porting. CNC or hand porting.

Bump for a great vendor!
Dom, when I was putting in the turbo, Dallas actually connected all the lines, and I'm not sure the oil restrictor went in. Where in the supply line is it, and what does it look like form the outside?

It's hard to miss. It's gold color and goes from an AN-4 to the turbo.
