Default Is there any way to get something off the Australian iTunes store from the US...?

I've looked all over mininova, demonoid, piratebay, isohunt, and a few other torrent sites for an EP by a little known australian band. I can't find it at all. But on their myspace is a link to purchase their stuff off of iTunes. I've got like $7 worth in credit left from christmas and figured I'd use it for this cause I can find most anything else on torrents. But I tried to purchase it and itunes told me it's from the australian store so I can't purchase it...wtf is that ****? Is it because the difference in curencies or what? I can see no damn logical reason to seperate the iTunes stores like that. Is there any way around that or am I going to have to rip the stuff from youtube videos because its not on torrents? If anyone cares, the bands name is The Temper Trap.

And for your time:

That might be possible but knowing apple they've thought about that. And it probably would just lock the song or some crap like that after I change my loc back to the US and it realizes that's australian media in my folder. I'll look into it though.

edit: "You have a store credit balance; you must spend your balance before you change stores.

F that. Apple can .

Yeah it's possible. I just would have to spend this 7$ on something. But the only thing I want on iTunes right now is this damn EP. And I'd have to pay with my debit card which is, of course, a US debit card and it would just tell me to GTFO the australian store again.

Lol I ninja edited while you were reading that post I've actually got s1 and s2 and I'd buy s3(rented and watched it all) but I leave for basic training for 2 months this coming up tuesday. I haven't seen much of season 4 so I'd like to catch up a bit. It might be worth it but I still wouldn't be able to fix the problem which lead me to posting this thread.

You can swap stores easily enough, but you need a credit card from that country to make a purchase (and set up an account there). You need to find a friendly Aussie.

I'm going in open mech. I was saying in the 'Should I Join The Air Force?' thread thats on p2 that I'm going to try to get fuels or something with some decent downtime so I can knock out some school because I want to get into the ROTC/SOAR program in a few years and become a pilot down the road. How do you like ATC? I'd imagine it'd be pretty damn crazy being ATC and all.

ATC is fun. Chill as hell. I am in College right now, and I have plenty of time to do all of my work. It get's crazy when you first learn, but once you get confortable talking to ACFT it's chill. I wanted to go to flight school, but I decided that I really didn't want to be in the Army that long.

Ah. Yeah just given what I've seen/heard of jobs like that I think you'd be stuck at work a lot. I sure as hell hope I don't end up being a maintainer even though that's pretty much my category. Theres a few other AFSCs my recruiter and I came up with so if I don't land fuels I'll try those. Are you going to one of the schools associated with the Army or what? And I've got a friend that I worked with at Nordstrom that flys helos. I think he's moving/moved this month to Alabama to finish his training. Seems like an interesting gig but I'd rather be AF for flying.

I am already done with all my school. I work in Korea as a controller. And we are limited to the amount of hours we can work actually. But I know some maintainers in the AF and they work a lot. They don't go home till all the maintnence is done for the day. But I went to school in Alabama as well. Home of Army aviation LOL. But flying helicopters isn't so bad. Those guys have it made.
