Default Northern NJ: Fender rolling service??

I know there are many shops (especially wheel shops) that fender roll in the Hackensack area. But are there any shops in northern NJ that can roll and pull fenders "well". I dont want to go to some place and get my car butchered by some amateur. I have seen uneven jobs and cracked paint on this forum (kinda scary). Im trying to get it done right the 1st time. Let me know!

I got my MR2 fenders done at Area1320 at the same time my friend got his 04 wrx rolled. I have no complaints, no cracked/chipped paint. It looks like it came that way, and at $30 per fender... the price is right

Is it actually $30? Saw a price of $40 on their site.

Vouch for 1320, I have driven down with like 5-7 Cars to get there fenders rolled and Ryan has hooked it up. Not a single one that didn't come out perfect.

I could take a picture of my mr2, but I'm not sure if you guys know how the stock MR2 fender looks like.

It took him about an hour to do 2 fenders. That includes time to get the car in the air, etc..

There are alot of wheels shops locally that can perform moderate fender rolls (rolling the inner lip flat). Can 1320 do a smooth pull?

Im looking for a "Kwinski Pull".

My friend does all the fender rolling for the s2ks. He's the only one I trust to touch the car. Im going to have him roll my fenders. He charges $100 for both sides.

100 is dirt cheap to do them correct, to do them right it takes several hours and your not going to find many shops that will do them for much less than 200 a fender considering how much time they take. I have done countless fenders and even still you occasionally will get one to crack, it just happens...

I am going to 1320 in the next two weeks to get mine rolled. I have heard nothing but good things about them and with the way the replied to my email i would say that they are a really down to earth shop i will let you know when i get back how they did but my guess is there gonna do a really good job. so i would go with them

thanks

PM replied.

IAG does all 4 corners for $150. You gotta visit their web site. They have fender rolling down to an art. They check the actual temp to make sure the fender is optimal for rolling/pulling. This keeps the paint from cracking. Looks like I might have to schedule a trip to Maryland.

Its a decent price. I used to work for a local tire and wheel shop back in my college days. Needless to say, we rolled/pulled fenders all day long. Every car that came in got slammed and got larger wheels. If a shop specializes in rolling/pulling, then it can be done alot easier/faster than other shops with less experience. And if it takes alot less time, the shop can also charge alot less. Makes sense doesnt it?

So basically, IAG can roll/pull the fenders on a Suby with a blind fold on (hence their $150 rate). But to tell you the truth, knowing whats really involved, I wouldnt pay over $200 for the job anywhere. Thats asking too much.
