What has this cost so far? I'd be very interested in getting you to do a set for me perhaps.

It's a lot of work. I spent $300 on projectors and hid kit, $50 on shrouds then all the painting supplies, and about 9 hours into it so far including painting and disassembly. There's a reason why lightworks charges so much for a retro!

Man, you've put a lot into those lights.
They should look awesome when you're done.

Yea can't wait to finish them. should be done tomorrow. I forgot, included in that 9 hours was painting bikergreens lights as well. Would have saved a lot of time by rattlecaning them like most ppl but a proper paintjob looks so much better! Aligning and mounting the projectors takes the longest.

It depends on the look you're going for cpelton.
OBP will match the car better, but a lot of guys use either a flat black, or flat grey to give some sort of color offset. It seems to break up the monotony of having the same color throughout.

I was going to go with black housings, until minifreak recommended tinting the chrome, rather than painting it. Just another option when it comes to modifying the lights.

Heh I know It's personal preference, iprefer matched. Tinted chrome would be cool. My headlights were stock flat grey and looked like ass. I thought about doing them satin black but went with obp for something different

Flashy paint on headlight housing will def affect your ligths...failed exams like 2003 Acura TL aspec, Honda Fit 05-08...but first you are using projectors now, secondly its your personal preference...so...keep up with the hard works and ignore my questions...

This is incorrect. As long as the reflector portion of the light itself isn't painted over, it won't have any effect. If it did, a gloss colour would reflect more light then a flat colour.

And seeing as the Wrx housings are chrome I don't think the shiny paint will make it any worse. Yes e46 fit well! The ones I got were knokoffs but fit perfect, the inner edge needed a bit of trimming to clear the reflector. Just covered the chrome with masking tape and trimmed with a belt sander. E46's also look good painted silver or black. Caesar @ lightwerkz painted his red to match the supertones and wheels looks amazing imo

I knew it would fit. '05-'07 WRX/STi/Impreza all have identical steering wheels. The Impreza is plastic, the WRX is black leather/black stitching, the STi is black leather/red stitching.
