Trying to keep on top of my projects so I can finish them off.

First I ripped out the pvc pipes because I wanted to aim the gauges more towards the driver (me). To do so, I sand the pipes to get a flat spot for more contact.

Next is figuring a way to close up the gap. For that I turned to one of my favourite stores for car modding supplies.

Tonight I used some epoxy (clay?) to build the structure around the pocket and pipes.

Some time this week I will build up the epoxy more so I can shape it and prep it for paint. Here is another shot from the front of the dash.

New parts from Japan finally came in! Thanks to RR for getting them and getting me a good price on them. Now I just need to trim the bumper beam and run some wires.

One thing is for sure, putting freshly painted parts on the car will guarantee a cut polish and wax at the same time so things look similar.

Had a chance to install my oil temperature gauge today. I was running out of room and I don't like the idea of pillar pods on a DD so I found this little gem.

Gauge panel all made up.

Will hook up the sensor tomorrow when and if the rain stops *sigh*

You mean -5 for each sticker so -5-5=-10, no? That's why I never put any stickers on my cars even though I have 2 kids.

-10 HP, that's fair enough but I guess it's "police-proof" now ??

Well there is that. If you put up the kid's sunshades you'll be bulletproof!

Here are some of the phases for JDM fog light install.

Prior to taking the front end apart.

First Corner cut (little bit of tweaking when test fitting later)

Preping for paint

Finished product, just waiting for my buddy to custom make me the JDM light brackets (RR couldn't order in the brackets for me so I'm having them made). The bracket does seem like over kill seeing how the lights will mount in the bumper.

For those ever needing to track down a relay for your fogs the part number is:
82501AE03A

It is a generic relay which works for a number of places in the car. $8.99 on Subaru Genuine Parts.
