I'm with grim beaver. A gunmetal or charcoal gray color compliments the color of your car. The gold kinda clashes for me

why not just keep them silver? like gfunk and grimbeaver and so many others.... the gold clashes. it takes a certian gold to flow with CGM/SGM/UGM. bronze would look good, gunmetal.... black.... or white.....

I've had bronze wheels before already. The BBS gold looks great on SGM I think...I'll search for a pic of a SGM with goldies to show you guys

My vote is for the black, I'm biased as my rims are black as well.

So, I did it.
I finally pulled the trigger, and ponied up for some 17x8 and 17x9 Foose Nitrous Legends.
Right now it looks like we'll be going with 265 in the rear, and 245 in front. Tires will probably be Kumho Ecsta. I'm still up in the air about the tires though, as I want to get the widest rubber I can fit. Maybe 285?

Awesome, should look really good, and ya go as big as you can out back, with a 245 up front, shot for 285 or 295. or see if Foose will custom make so 17x11's for ya and run 315's

rawr

The rear tires are only 315/40R19s

Omg just changed a wheel bearing **** that never again.. Stubborn bolts and lack of a proper bearing separator made it such a pain in the ass. While I was at it I changed out the rotors for new brembo blanks and pads for axxis ultimates

Umm I think you can buy a whole hub assembly? I just bought the bearing and pressed the old one out. It was a rear if that makes any difference

ya I think so, the fronts are bolted and the rears are the same pressed yes? well yes I guess since you just did the rear and said it was pressed, so ya the fronts I guess are the easier.

That would be awesome, but until I get the rearend shortened, I'm forced to work with 17x9 as the widest without pioneering new fitment. The fenders bow in a lot, and there's a fine line between looking good, and looking like I'm using the way wrong offset.

Here's the car with 15x8 Cragars.

If the Cragars look this cool, the 17" should look amazing.

agreed.
It looks more at home in black. But it totally goes against my whole "color matched parts!" ideology.

Hypa, did I remember hearing you say that you had a knock off lip as well as your carbon lip?

I ask because I'm looking to pick up a lip this spring for the wagon and was wondering if you wanted to lend me your knock off for all of 10 minutes to see if I would still be able to get in my underground with one on. I'm worried about the approach angle on the driveway when I'm entering. Thought I'd ask you as I know you frequent Langley often and I'm only a couple blocks from Jay's shop.

Lemme know. Or if you don't, tell me to take a hike.

Hypa, do you know where I can get those push tabs for the lip? I broke mine when I tried taking them off so I need some replacements but I can't find it anywhere. Do I need to get them from the dealership?

I only have the Chargespeed lip now, and she's installed tight.

I sold my old one to Hipower, and since he's looking at selling his car, he may want to flip it to you for cheap.

fleek, I bought a metric ass ton of clips from subarugenuineparts.com last year. I'd send some your way, but I'm out of them now after taking the bumper and lip on and off so many times.

You have to do some searching, as they're tough to find.
But much cheaper than the Canadian dealers, plus they fit perfectly.

Generic clips don't fit like oem.
