The HP you have is exactly.....

..... the number that a dyno reading gives you.

And theres no way an intake, exhaust, and pullies give you +50HP at the crank.

PS. Isnt there a different forum for this? I dont see a turbo in your mods list.

Take a look in the N/A forum. There are some good discussions in there. Dont expect too much HP from your mods though. My uneducated guess would be +10 - 15HP. RS's are rated from Subie 165 at the crank. At the wheels it is much less because the power is going to four wheels instead of two.

TrueHP is generally what you trap in the 1/4 mile.

Don't 2.5RS's make ~120whp? With his mods he probably has somewhere around ~130whp... But it's all relative to the dyno you're using.

Im saying "wicked serious" because ur car is not really that upgraded man. just add like maybe 15 hp onto the regular RS and there u have it. And if u were serious about numbers u would spend the money on a dyno.

the injen intake says it adds 17 hp alone, and with all the other mods i dont really get how it could be so low

Because injen lied to you. I don't know the numbers, but i personally would be surprised if you saw more than 10HP with bolt ons like that. 'Specially with no tune.

Try over in the N/A forum - this one is for turbo'd motors.

Also, you need to remove that intake. It's causing MAF issues which cannot be corrected, causing extreme rich conditions at low RPM.

Mass Airflow Sensor - it's what measures the air coming into the engine. Your intake is causing it to read extremely high under certain conditions due to a resonance being set up in the intake tract. You need at least the stock snorkus, though it's simplest to use the stock airbox as well. This is not a problem on turbo cars.

The important thing is that you need to remove the intake and put the stock one back. There is a sticky in the N/A forum about it.

and this is the N/A with bolt on turbo (forced induction) forum. The N/A forum is here.

This is most likely the gains they got after tuning and retuning the car to get the best numbers from the injen system....... you will not see anything close to those gains by just bolting it on

That all depends on the dyno. Reddevil's number of 150whp is probably pretty close if he's measuring on a Mustang dyno. Most Mustangs put a stock RS at 120-135whp. Each dyno is different.

The Dyno Dynamics dyno in my town puts a stock 2.5RS at 95whp.

And that's only two out of maybe half a dozen brand of dynos.

Take the example of my old personal RS. It made 151whp and 158ft/lb of torque on Cobb's Mustang dyno. That was with intake, exhaust (including headers, pulley and cams. I brought it home and it made 138whp and 135.5 ft/lb of torque. So same car, same set up, different dynos. You will also note that on a Mustang I made more torque than HP. But on a DD I made more HP than torque.

So the guy who said you will make as much power as you make on the dyno you run your car on, got it right. Dynos are like shoe sizes. Adidas says I'm a 9.5, while Nike says I'm a 10 and La Sportiva says I'm a 42.5...
