Looking for an Internship

Currently a Junior at Texas State University, majoring in Computer Information Systems (equivalent to Management Information Systems at other major universities from what I've been told)

Strong customer service skills, I have been working as a Sales Associate at Sears Home Appliance Showroom for the past 2 years now.

I'd like to get a job working with Network/Database Security upon graduation, but right now I am still open to all other fields CIS related.
Willing to move anywhere, extremely flexible and cooperative.

PM for entire resume, any help would be much appreciated.

My company (Brierley and Partners) is looking for 3 Production Analysts. We are a tech based advertising agency that develops and runs loyalty programs, Borders, JCPenny, American Eagle, Blockbuster etc.

The production analyst job is ENTRY level. This would be great for a recent grad that wants to break into the marketing field. Basically the job is putting together emails, you know the ones that let you know how many reward points you have and if you use a code you will get 25% off or something

It helps if you have a knowledge of HTML, but really you just have to want to work in marketing.

I work in HR for these guys and am the person to talk to regarding these jobs. If you are interested PM me. The last person we hired was a freind of SHIFTcanadian's and I'm all about helping someone that needs a break.

thanks

I'm a real estate broker and would be happy to sponsor anyone who would like to get their Real Estate license and either sell or lease property. I also own an apartment locator service called FreeRentMoney.com. I'd be happy to hire anyone to be an apartment locator. It is straight commission work and you have to have a real estate license.

You mean MASE at TAMUG... right? I was unaware of a MASE program at TAMU and I just finished my MASE degree last year. If you're a junior at Galveston then you should be in Hydro with Dr. Sweetman Great class.

Are you looking to go more structural with the degree? My company is always open to interns in the subsea department. If you are interested PM me. The pay is excellent and it is a very chill environment.

Petland, Lewisville, In Dire Need of Help

New postby hegi on Mon Feb 22, 2010 5:04 pm
Hey guys,

I just went by Petland, Lewisville this afternoon and their fish department is in bad shape. They had a lot of tangs and other fish that were bone-thin/obviously hungry, cyano covers the sand/walls of their tanks and things are progressively getting worse. I talked to one of the employees and apparently their entire marine/freshwater fish/coral/invert staff as well as their maintenance guy quit. Things are literally sitting their without being taken care of because no one else up there knows what to do. I spent about an hour instructing one of the employees on how to feed the different marine fish and what their needs were and then helping her feed the fish. They had been feeding them freshwater pellets. They offered me a job to help them along but I'm not looking for one and am very happy at Lone Star; however, this could be a very good opportunity for someone who is looking for something, even part-time, as long as you have some experience working with large systems as well as FOWLR as well as reefs. I honestly don't know what the pay/benefits/or hours would be. I really care about the animals more than anything else and want to see them get the care they need, which is the only reason I even posted this. Here is their information:

420 East Round Grove Road
Lewisville, TX 75067-8140
(972) 874-0770

Hopefully one of you guys needs and job and have the skills necessary to help save these animals! Thanks!

I need a job or my Scooby will get taken away from me by the bank. I've got plenty of skills other than my ninja, nunchuck and bow-staff skills.

Pre-owned car sales, 2 months.
Not much else to say about this but you can't sell any cars if you don't have any customers

Banker, About two years
Teller, ATM and vault custodian, supervised & trained new and current employees
Employee of the month several times, more than I can remember.
Pretty "handy" I fixed majority of the problems with hardware at the office.
Sold retail bank products such as checking, savings, CDs, savings bonds, IRAs, loans and other various products.

Worked in manufacturing for a few months back in 07 on composite material for jets and private airplanes

I'm looking for really anything but commission based sales. I Can sell any product I just prefer not to. I have great customer service skills. Straight forward with everything I say and do. Proficient in MS office and can type 98 wpm 10000+ksph. Willing to work in Dallas, Addison, Carrolton, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Hurst, Euless, Grapevine and Irving or in any of those general areas.

Very professional and goal oriented.

To my TXIC peers:

I need a jerb!

I've got great leadership/supervisory experience and can deal with just about any type of customer there is.

I spent the last half of 2008 as a team-lead/supervisor organizing a team of 5-7 technicians installing new network hardware/registers in Whataburgers around south Texas.

I was accountable for all of the old equipment as well as the new equipment to be installed (usually over $10,000 of hardware). And I was responsible for making sure each install was handled with proper care and under strict guidelines.

The manager of each store along with the district manager for that area were present at each install and I had to maintain a proper dress code and attitude as my work and actions reflected on the entire company.

I was solely responsible in insuring that each store was finished in the allotted amount of time as each store would be re-opening within an hour of my team finishing the conversion. If a store could not be completed it could not conduct business and would obviously cost Whataburger and my employers alot of money. I'm proud to say that each of my 60+ stores were finished easily within our set time limit.

I conducted my job so well that I was often asked to follow up on stores completed by other teams and make sure all terminals were installed under the proper guidelines and that each store ran smoothly and correctly.

If my manager was swamped with other duties I would be asked to have other teams/supervisors call and check in with me to make sure they were on time and at the proper store for the night. Also, on more than one occasion I had a new team-lead training under me.

If anyone has a spot they think I could fill, let me know. I'm fine with traveling and don't mind changes on short notice.

Dustin Crabtree

I want to get back into the project management field especially in regards to production work (experienced Audio engineering, Lighting, and video). And or corporate events.
