Why not? It's hard work, but I love it. You make things from nothing, bring people's dreams to life, and you have to use your Brain. Unlike a lot of jobs these days.

My company is hiring in Houston/Bellaire for an HVAC tech. No license or experience required, will train (paid). Must have valid and clean driver's license and record, and be able to pass both DPS and FBI background checks, as we do a lot of schools/churches/government contracts.

Typical hours are 6:30am-3:30pm M-F, usually ever other weekend is a 3-day weekend. No weekend work. Lots of great benefits. Company is operating very positively, and has been in business since 1941.

Please email info@texasrallysport.com

Thanks!

James, I sent you a PM and an email.
I'm looking for a job that requires less travel, and I have relevant experience and training.

Hey all. I'm moving to the DFW area in September and I'll be needing a job. I've got a great deal of experience In film and TV special effects which means welding, carpentry, LPG plumbing, explosives, forklift driving and auto mechanics. But I'm moving to DFW to get out of this line of work.

However, I'm going back to Dallas to get my undergrad in child psych. So I'm really looking for anything in the mental health field, or possibly work at hospital.

I'd be happy with any information but I thought I'd put out what I'm looking for.

Thanks a lot, in advance.

Parkland and green oaks are the two big psych units in town. According to my wife, who is an LPC, green oaks is the better of the two.

There are numerous juvenile detention facilities as well. A lot of people who are working in the child psych field get started there.

You can laugh but the base I work at has many slots open for contractors. I'm sure not all require an IT background but those are the ones I know about. They are so in need of people to come live in this crap small town the base is next to that they may hire you without already having a security clearance (just the ability to qualify for one). Check clearancejobs.com for Clovis NM, it's really, really close to Texas which is one of the reasons I took this one over another in Florida (f*ck the humidity).
