I'm afraid this will happen to not just NASA, but to much more of the other contractors of the govt...

Well since my oringal screen name is still in time out (thanks for the un-ban), I am using this one to happily announce that I got an offer for a contract job in Iraq doing support for the Army's computer system. So if all goes well with the checks (physical/background/security) then I will be good to go! While not the best situation it will be nice to finally be able to clear all my debt including what my parents loaned me and have a nice bit of savings, the rest will go into a kick arse Saab 9-2x build out

Okay - here's my situation. I moved back to San Antonio three weeks ago, and was just offered a job. The job was at a company that a couple of my friends work for - and the company USED to pay really well. After going through the hiring process, and getting an insultingly low offer from the company, I have decided to go another direction. The problem is, I don't know what that direction is.

In that past, I have worked in an office doing typical clerk type stuff, though my knowledge of computers is pretty far beyond that. Also, have a ton of kitchen experience, but I'm sure that experience wouldn't really be relevant here. I'm a junior in college, I've attended UTSA and SMU - most of my classes have been along a business degree path. I pick things up pretty quickly, and take pride in ANYTHING I do.

So - I'm looking for something, anything, that pays enough not to absolutely need a second job to get the bills paid. If anyone has any leads, let me know.

Hello all,

I was just making a quick post to see if anyone knew of any available Store Management positions? Or if anyone has any friends that work retail management? I'm looking for Best Buy or electronic type shops, (where my education lies) If anyone has any suggestions, any help is needed.

Thanks
Taylor

got a job in ATX around 35/183 area. its a place called "cerqa" but you have to go through a temp agency - keystaff. the job is loading trucks with computer equipment and driving/delivery, and it's a night shift 3pm-? don't need a CDL, but do need a valid drivers license. $10/hr starting through the temp agency, but if you're dependable he'll hire on for $12/hr after a 3 month probation period.

My work is hiring for a teller in the north dallas area near 635 and the tollway. Part time position. Must have good credit and background check to get the job... pay is crap but hours are good and the office has a gym you can use for free after work.
