Unhappy ebay header or good used header

I was wondering if it made a difference. A new ebay header? Or used perrin or other name brand header? With the ware and tear on it. I cant afford a new brand name header. Just wanting know if anyone had any info for me. Thanks

I herd eBay ones were not all that good but i could be wrong. But going used is always a plus cause you get the brand name but not the brand name price .

Get a good used one. There are too many questions with a no name ebay header. Fitment? Quality? Welds? ect... Stick with quality of Perrin, Borla ect...

If most quality headers are prone to cracks, there's not even a question to if an eBay one will.

i had a set of headers from ebay and they did not give me a promblem they where xs-power headers.

now i do not know about other headers on ebay.

the only reason why i bought those headers is because i did not have enough money to get the ones i wanted at the time.

i ran the xs-power headers for about a year with no promblems.

once i got enough money i went and bought my gt-spec headers

now the ebay headers are cheaper made i can tell you that and you could run into a promblem but like i said i had good luck with the xs-power headers.

XS Power = SSAC

SSAC exhausts are known for rotting right off their hangers as soon as winter hits.

Do those fit in your price range? You could also go with just the manifolds if you can't afford the x-pipe package:

Defiant Autospeed (contact him - I don't believe he does a core exchange program, though)

I think he meant, he blew the welds on the ebay, then went to Cusco for headers.

To OP:
Don't get eBay headers, I heard bad things about em, I mean heck of a deal, but thats one thing you don't want to gamble with when it comes to ebay stuff, you don't want to be driving then your headers fail, ya know?

also another note, headers are not all the fun to install, so why buy some you know will break and have to rip everything off only to replace it again with the right thing?

i wouldnt realy go with a ebay header. Also if i heard right replacing your header on a wrx not too sure about sti, will make your turbo spool up alot slower and will take away from your low end power. But anyway id go with a legit company on the headers, maybe borla?
