Default Straight Road?

Ok, I am getting a G-Tech Pro that "should" be here on Friday, just curious if anyone knows any good roads to test this thing out with. There is one right by my house, but residental zone, and I think I would piss people off doing 1/4 mile tests in the middle of the day, lol. Ohhhh yeh anyone that wants to borrow it or what not, your more then welcome to.

Best bet would be the New Seward or the Glenn. Minnesota?

Yeh I was thinking that too, but I think comming to a complete stop in the middle of the highway would be kind of wacky

You could try stopping at a rest stop or a truck stop along a highway and start from there....

Thumbs up

you could try it at Klatt. Stop at the top of the hill where the stop light is and take off from there.

or you could try it on the highway when its really deserted.

I would try the Artic Valley rd. The section that is through the golf course location is very flat and straight, very minimal traffic - and it has to be over 1/4 mile long. Drive in, check for moose - turn around in the parking lot and rip it on out.

"top of hill"

Wouldn't that throw off the results of the G-tech?

Why not just time it right so that you are first at the light at 36th & NS heading south.

Those are all good suggestions, I am going to check out Artic Vally Rd. And yeh the flatter the raod the better, because the G-Tech works more or less off of G's.

I live on muldoon, and I do all my tuning out on the Glenn. Anything after 10pm its is pretty much deserted. One stretch that I have found good is the Artic Valley area. Getting off the Glenn at the Ft Rich area look at the traffic when you go over the overpass.....when you get back on the onramp if you stop and look at just the right angle you can gage where there is nobody behind you or in front.....stop at the bottom of the onramp and just hit it.....I spent about 45 minutes lastnight doing nothing but loops from Muldoon to Ft Rich turnoff tuning. Good spot....

What's that road that Raspberry turns into. If you're heading West on Raspberry it turns South towards Dimond. Isn't that a long straight away?

Is the point Woronzof area still off limits? That road back there is deserted, long and straight.

Artic Valley road towards Ft. Rich is good. Most of the G-Tech runs that whtdvl and nano have done were on Minnesota and the Seward hwy.

Try it on the new section of just before you get to Girdwood. Lots of road and at least a couple of rest stops to get staged in.

I live right there, that would Sandlake road. The speed Limit is 50mph and it is straight. Thats where I test my car at. Just drive though once and turn around and launch it.

Gtech won't work anywhere where's there's even a slight hill. When I was with Ben we went to do some runs on new seward. I personally go do runs at C street between 76th and the light by GCI building. Perfect straight and no traffic at night.

Default Road's

Arctic Valley road is property of the military, and they monitor that section of the road frequently. You dont want to get pulled over by M.P's doing 140mph down that stretch of road.

I would recomend Church Road in Wasilla. Its about 4 miles long, and not a bend in it. There's never traffic, and you'll only see a cop out there if he's back there smoking a bowl.
