2009 12 Hours of Sebring

It's March 21 (saturday) 10am-10pm, in Sebring, FL, obviously. Festivities go on from March 18th til the 21st. Who's going? who wants to go? who needs a ride? etc etc. if going, have any plans/ambitions to get a subaru meet going? Post any inquiries here and hopefully a small subaru community will be in attendance.

There are tickets for $70 that give paddock and general admittance access from friday @ 8pm through sat. Camping (tent) is free, RV parking is extra. Parking inside the track is extra.

I will be attending and would like to meet up with some fellow Subaru enthusiasts if anyone would like to hang out. I'll be there fri the 20th @ 8pm through sat the 21st, with my GF and maybe some other friends. We will be tent camping. PM me on here if interested.

Last year all the cheaper tickets (less than $150 or so) sold out 2 weeks or more before the race, just a heads up.

The $70 super-saturday ticket is now $80

I'll be there as part of Team Weird Motorsports Fans ruling the outside of Turn 6. A member of our crew was The Mayor of the Infield back in 2003. The crew arives Tuesday evening and is part of the nuts that sleep outside the track and are part of the first ones in Wednesday morning. My father and I will be ariving either late Wednesday night or around lunch on Thurs.

As we always put it, "Lets get together for a party and maybe a race will happen."

I won't be in the scoob though as we're towing an RV.

What day are you arriving? Ill be camping also, arriving fri night @ 8pm w/ the super saturday ticket. Be cool to camp next to a fellow subie owner if you would like. PM me if that sounds like fun. Hope you make it there, either way.

Well the first entry list was released for Sebring, and it looks like its going to be a great fight for overall and LMP1. 2 new Audi R15s, 2 908, and 2 LMP1 Acuras. Too bad only Acura is running the full schedule. Also BMW is back with there new GT2 car to mix it up with the Porsches and Ferraris.

Not true, I bought my ticket at the gate Saturday morning. Sebring is huge, I would be surprised if they sold out at all any year, and especially surprised considering the economy this year. I've been every year since 2005.

I'll be there, but probably will not take my STi, in my gray SVT Lightning instead.

Thanks. Looking forward to this race on March 21st!!! Here's hooping Speed Channel will have extensive live coverage...and not have gaps in coverage to play old Nascar vids.

+1 On what wvallwheeldrive said. The pic I posted was an old one from winter testing. The new livery looks alright, but the car definitely looked better in black.

I will be in Cocoa Beach,FL most of the March driving down from NH. So I will definitely go to Sebring. Subaru meet would be great!
