Default help with knock/det

Hi guys! I seem to be having det off throttle (usually above 30 mph), and knock below 10, specifically when starting and turning at the same time, like at a stop sign. I can grab the emanage logs probably, if that would help. Does this sound like a problem with mismatched plugs? Thanks! Currently I am running 600cc injectors on the stock 2.5 block. The car runs fine (pretty good actually) on throttle.

det off throttle!?

If you log your injector duty cycle while off throttle completely you should not have any fuel or very very very little going into the combustion chamber, if you do have more than 1% I would wonder if something is wrong with your ecu.

Otherwise you may need a new knock sensor... I've never heard of knock off throttle except like an after shift knock

Wait I just noticed your running emanage, you may need to lower your knock sensor sensitivity in those load cells if possible. Almost seems like a software error, I really doubt it's actually knocking, but just out of curiousity, what is your air to fuel ratio and base timing or timing before tdc?

I'm not sure what the afr is offhand. I would have to plug into it. It is not listed as knock by a knock sensor, just by ear. The car smells really rich on short drives anywhere, and it had been suggested this might be det in the exhaust, rather than in the heads. I have a feeling it was tuned to run pretty rich to be on the safe side, and this is just excess fuel being shoved out the tail and burnt off somewhere downstream. I am going to take a ride around today with someone to get their opinion, and stop by the shop when I have time to see what they think. I'm not keen on burning out my cat, but that's not as bad as blowing up the block. At least a cat is replaceable, right?

Yeah that's true, I would bring it to the shop like you said, get an idea what the afr was tuned at and what kind of timing your running also.

Another thing, are you running stock internals in that?
