Default WTB : Fat/Slim PS2 for cheap

I have a couple games that won't boot up on my software emu 80gb PS3.
Would like to buy a fat/slim ps2 for cheap. I can get one at gamestop for 59.99 in worst case so..cheaper than that..if you have one let me know.

It can only play about 90% of all games, using software emu.. I haven't had a problem till I got AR 2 today.
The 60 gb ones actually had a minips2 built into them, but they were discontinued a while ago.
and yeah the 360 gets used every night when i get home lol

How do you do the emulation? If I could play MGS2 and 3 on my PS3, I could sell my PS2.

If "psi-rst" doesn't come through, I have one (original version "big" version...remember standing in line for it when it first came out). I'll also include the network adapter, hard case, and 3 controllers (1 shock model, 1 black standard, and 1 Nikko cool flow with fans and such).

ButtDyno which PS3 do you have?
if you have the older 60gb model, it should just play it right up..it will list as "PS2 game disc" where you normally launch the game.
for the 80gb models, only the one that came packaged with Motorstorm has the software emulation...it should still be able to play the Metal Gears I believe
it should launch the same way, jsut insert the disc and it should show up as Ps2 game disc.

I ended up buying a ps2 slim brand new for like 130 or whatever..so sorry to you guys haha.

I have one of the newer 80 gb ones. When I put the disc in it says "wtf are you doing, sparky, wrong system"

I was wondering/figuring there was a hack to make it work.
