P & L Motorsports 13mm Headstuds were engineered to provide increased clamping force for high boost and high compression engines. A must for those running more than 30psi and 9:1 compression ratios. We have tested these on our 900hp drag car up to 45psi with no head gasket failures. Whether you're building a street monster or a high performance race engine, these are a must.

i just did a ej257 shortblock swap in to a wrx. with stock wrx heads.


wicht oil pump do you recomend me to use?

If you are using stock heads and do not plan on reving past 7000k a stock 10mm or 11mm pump will be sufficient, with the 11mm having a greater flow output and being the better choice.

What engine set up are you running?? If you have a 2.5L and plan on racing/ driving the car hard or have a upgraded turbo set up ,this pump is a must.

It was inevitable.

People have asked for years when we'd start releasing engines built to our own specifications.

After years of aggressive motorsport experience, it was a natural transition for us to apply what we've liked and not liked about the different specifications we've tried. What we have here is the beginning in P&L Motorsports staged series of Signature Series engines.

Stage 1 addresses the fundamental flaw in the latest generation of the 2.5L engine, the piston castings. We start off with a brand new 2.5L engine, and then proceed to FULLY disassemble the motor and verify clearances and component fitment.

We do MUCH more then simply drop in a set of pistons! All engines are case split, and all bearings, surfaces, and critical elements are hand measured, inspected, and fully blue printed! We then machine and hone all cylinder bores to match the exact specifications for our pistons.

Your fully blue-printed engine is then custom fitted with forged alloy pistons custom manufactured by CP, for us. To top everything off, all piston skirts are fully coated for maximum engine performance and cylinder component life.

Thanks for the response. Do you have any pics of this power steering line installed ? I managed to jack the metal hard lines going to the steering rack so i am thinking of replacing the whole thing.
