Pretty nasty numbers and crazy low end torque from the looks of it.

http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-eng...ok-inside.html

that turbo isn't even ported and its hanging on a stock ported mani.

My god, 133mph on a stock turbo? What kind of turbo is it they use?

And 1.3 60' ft is incredible!

+1

He just talks about how sweet EVO's are, and how his lowly TR will never stack up. I am sick of the stupid little smiley with the hat too...

Seems too fast for a stock turbo EVO IX

A average IX owner won't be able to do that. Built motor, tranny and well everything with a stock turbo and race gas. They did that just to break a record then go bigger. Still impressive though. If I can get my IX in the 11s, I'll be happy.

I did too. Honestly both cars has its up's and down's. But to be honest, mod for mod, the EVO will always win out, speaking from experience.

that is awesome, I wish Subaru wouldn't have short changed us with the lousy vf39...pretty sad we are a full second and a half behind in the "fastest stock turbo" category.

No way dude, the list on evoM only shows a few more evo's in the 10's and 9's in the list then subarus so that must be the truth. (sarcasm)

Theres like 3 people in the low 12's high 11's on vf39 sti's and theres liek 10+ evo's running 11's consistently with stock turbos

10.2 is SICK fast.

im getting one next year

def an amazing accomplishment. this car is completely built to do one thing, drag. gutted, cage, built motor, trans/tc. it almost seems crazy to do all that work to a car and slap on the stock snail, EXCEPT to claim this record. the turbo seems to be the limiting factor of this setup, imagine what it would do w/ a real turbo...
