almost the same as V mount but the intercooler is mounted further forwards and the radiator sits directly behind it, you would need a smaller then OEM radiator though thats the only problem, so the pipes could run on either side of it.
I could be wrong but I believe that's basically what the team orange cars run. The radiator is located behind the ic and the ic is located high up like it would be on a v-mount (unlike a fmic setup). The kicker is the radiator and ic are still both perpendicular to the ground. The radiator isn't as tall as the stocker allowing the ic pipes to easily pass over it.

I'll admit that there haven't been any good pics of how the radiator is setup on the team orange cars, but I bet it's as I described.

Their radiators are mounted in the trunk, hence the big openings in the trunk lid and ducting in the doors.

i think only a few of their subies have that setup. im pretty sure tanakas 06 they run in the U.S and Europe has a normal radiator setup, not 100 % sure though, but i saw that car at D1.

A mid mount setup really wouldnt be that hard with a little bit smaller of a radiator and an intercooler that fits under the core support and has backwards facing end tanks, you just wouldnt be able to run AC because of that stupid condenser. it would be a hell of alot cheaper then a V mount and would be alot more simple and practical. i think the hardest part is finding a radiator that has stock location inlets and outlets and is the perfect size.

Yeah, only some of them have the rear mounted radiator - you can tell if it has the cut-outs on the rear doors. I've got the subie sport issue with the team orange drift cars (the ones that were at subiefest) and the radiator is clearly mounted below and behind the intercooler. You can only tell when looking at the front of the car. You can't even see the radiator in any of the engine bay shots I've seen because it sits low.

One has to keep in mind that the ic is farther forward on the team orange cars than most v-mount setups. They actually have the top part of the radiator support - between the headlights - cutout and that's where the ic is fitted.

Edit: I couldn't post the pics, but post #202 in this thread shows what I'm talking about.

Hey spool like these? http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/I...670/index.html

What I ment, about what are good radiators. I am looking for the hose placement and height etc. I like the one on the esx motorsport car for example. Where can I find one similar.

thanks for the link, but i think 33" is too big to fit under the radiator support, i beleive from headlight to headlight its like 29" on a GD, says they build custom ones though so hmm..

Hey spool, If you if you bought the one 12'' by 33'' and had the core de-sized to 28''. It could be bolted onto the radiator cross member, like the ARC intercooler team orange uses. But if I go that route, I am going to angle it 30 degrees to leave room for the radiator.

yeah, or you could just buy a forge intercooler, wich is 28" long, but i still think that is too big, dont think there is enough space for the pipes to run.

http://www.forgemotorsport.com/conte...ct=FMINT104UNI

precision also makes one thats 26.75 x 6 x 3.5, seems like it would be a good fit.
