I added your schedule to the calendar.

Is 7/7 at Waldorf the right date (it's a Thursday)

You won't be the only one. I've been running with them for 3 years and have never driven in one of their autoX events in my (now-sold) BMW. I have enjoyed their events.

I'll see what I can do. We took FTD at SJR the other weekend - our only goal.

Looks like I'll probably need Saturday to finish up the kart for dover so I won't be able to make this.

Somehow I don't think the neighbors would appreciate me breaking the engine in late Friday night.

Not that any of my cars could compete for FTD anyway

How are the BMWCCA events at Old Dominion? Better/worse than the Bowie Baysox location for CDC?

I'm trying to figure out which event to do on the 23rd. Thanks for the input!

Old Dominion is a new site for the BMW club. I would go to Old Dominion to see how the lot is since I already know how Bowie is.

I definitely like AI events and have done Waldorf a few times. Just thinking of scouting out the other regional locations at the beginning of the season to see what's out there. I really like the way BMWCCA puts on events as well.

Only been to one CDC event that was in Fredrick. Not a great venue up there. The organization was fine, and Ed made some awesome smoked salmon that day. Those were definite pluses.

There is also a simple classing structure for non-BMW competitors. You can check out the full details at nccautocross.com.

Our program is beginner friendly, offering in-car instruction, guided course walks, and a dedicated group of organizers who are happy to answer any questions you might have or show you the ropes. Also, there are free loaner helmets available for use, so if you don't have your own helmet there is no need to go out and buy or rent one just to get a few fun runs in!

So whether you're a longtime BMW CCA veteran or never been to an autocross before, come check it all out online at our website: www.nccautocross.com

If you've posted it on the NCC forum someone I'm sure someone lives somewhere near you and can meet you to pick it up. If not just bring it to the next event you can make. Are you in VA?
