I am running this turbo and it pulls like a scalded ape. If I had built internals I could see this turbo making around the 500whp range with meth. I wanted a number of 430 @ 23 psi and thats what we tuned it to. Later when I have a built motor the boost wil be raised to around 30 psi.

To give you an idea. My last setup which was a frank 50 (green) with meth and externally gated made 386 whp @ 24 psi. With the dom4 I am barely hitting its efficiency range.

Our 08 STi shop car and my 05 LGT both hit full boost at or before 4000 rpm (depending on load). The 08 STi has an ATP35R and my car has a rotated GT35R. Both cars have similar built bottom ends and ported heads, use identical intercooler cores, have EWG's returned to the downpipe and nearly identical supporting mods. My car does have cams/valvetrain as well so it makes more power up top, but below 6000 rpm the curves are very similar. Both cars make well in excess of 400whp on straight CA91 octane pump gas.

Until the ATP35R came along, I would have agreed that bolt-on 35R's weren't the best option, but that was because there wasn't one that was well executed. The ATP35R performs nearly identically to most of the rotated 35R's. For someone who has already invested in parts for a stock location turbo setup, it is a logical and cost effective way to get enough power to satisfy 99% of folks out there. BTW, as to the cost of the ATP turbos, most ATP dealers offer the turbos for less than the MSRP. I know that we most certainly do.
